Creating Audience

Learn to create different audiences/segments of your subscribers using the iZooto panel.

In order to send the contextual notification to your subscribers, you need to segment them based on their activity on your website and their properties. Those segment termed as Audience in iZooto panel.

Creating Audience

To create an audience, log in to your iZooto Panel>>Create Audience

Pre-Defined Audiences.
Once you go live with iZooto, along with acquiring subscribers for your website, the platform also captures few additional information about the subscribers like device type, subscription date & location and automatically segment them under 5 audiences shown below.

Using Pre-Defined Properties.
By default, iZooto platform captures 3 user-properties viz. Device, subscription date & location. Using them while creating an audience will help you to segment your subscribers base to a very granular level.
Here is how you can use them:-

  • Login to your iZooto Panel.
  • Click on Create audience.
  • Click on Add Audience.
  • Choose the events flow, using which you want to send a targeted notification.
  • Click on Show User Properties and select the desired user properties for further segmentation.
  • Click on Show Count to check the no. of subscribers falling in this segment.
  • Click on Save Audience.

Let’s say, you want to send segment the mobile user who has added something to their cart 1 day ago and have not paid yet. Below is a step-by-step process to create the required audience.

Using Behavioural Properties

After you have implemented the necessary, to track user activities on your website. Those events will be automatically populated in your platform to use and segment your subscribers.

Here is how you can create a behavioral audience.

  • Login to your iZooto Panel.
  • Click on Create audience.
  • Click on Add Audience.
  • Choose the events flow, using which you want to send a targeted notification.
  • Click on Show User Properties and select the desired user properties for further segmentation.
  • Click on Show Count to check the no. of subscribers falling in this segment.
  • Click on Save Audience.

Using Prior-Notification Response

You can also further filter your subscriber segment who have responded to an earlier notification too. This allows you to set the context for your next notification even more precise.

Here is how can do it.

  • Login to your iZooto Panel.
  • Click on Create audience.
  • Click on Add Audience.
  • Choose the events flow, using which you want to send a targeted notification.
  • Click on Show User Properties and select the desired user properties for further segmentation.
  • Click on the checkbox saying Filter by Notification clicked on.
  • Select the past notifications, either include or exclude the responses for the former.
  • Click on Show Count to check the no. of subscribers falling in this segment.
  • Click on Save Audience.
